![]() Perturabo reads more like a classical BL novel with PoV from Perturabo and some of his Marines and is the story of his upbringing on Olympia as well as the story of the rebellion of Olympia near the start of the Heresy. Lorgar details his upbringing on Colchis (and more or less stays there the whole time), is written exclusively from the perspective of others and reads sometimes like a Bible-like religious text about a prophet. Every one takes a very distinct route of telling its story in terms of content and storytelling, though they are all set before the Heresy, during or before the Great Crusade, with younger versions of the Primarchs. I've read the three most recent ones, Perturabo, Lorgar and Fulgrim, and honestly found them all to be rather excellent. Everything beyond that is more or less in the hands of the author and thus varies from novel to novel. The premise for every Primarch novel seems to be "write a definitive character piece about his personality, strengths and flaws". /u/Ghoul_Stars’ Video Journey Through 40k./u/Jackeyblob's Warhammer 40K Lore Documents AIO./u/JIDF-Shill's Horus Heresy comprehensive reading order. Please review the short conversation blacklist on our wiki before commenting or posting.
